Surrounded by the winding bayous of southern Terrebonne Parish, TARC sits upon over 20 acres of land that is infused with businesses creating jobs for adults with intellectual and other developmental disabilities since 1962. For over 45 years, TARC has become a premier and leading ARC in the nation with its innovative job opportunities and services that include Pre-Vocational Training, Vocational Training, Health Services, Residential Services, Therapies, and Transportation.

The revolutionary growth of TARC is attributed to being on the cutting edge of social enterprises that create meaningful work for our individuals.


TARC has been able to soar beyond new heights with 16 local businesses, at this current time, that serve the residents of Terrebonne Parish and beyond as well as providing creative jobs for TARC men and women.

TARC also attributes its success to our 200 staff members involved at every level of service making a difference in the lives of each adult served.
