Staying focused on our primary goal, training and creating paid employment for people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities, has allowed us to increase our present workforce from 1 to 6 individuals as well as an increase in staff to help with the abundance of orders. Customers have been impressed with the program and the products produced by Sweet Sensations Confections. Differentiating ourselves from other more traditional
candy stores has given us the ability to exist as a training facility
while operating as a fully operational candy production company
both wholesaling and retailing its products. The success of the
business has been phenomenal and the dedication to make it work
continues to grow. Individuals employed by Sweet Sensations Confections
are able to learn skills in candy production, packaging, labeling,
sales and delivery and customer service. The nature of the business
has allowed for innovative ideas and input on all levels for all
involved. On a regular basis Sweet Sensations Confections gives
