CREATING OPPORTUNITIES

Our newest business venture, The Hen House, creates new and exciting opportunities for our individuals. Currently, we have over 25 hens that lay fresh farm eggs every day. TARC’s men and women from the Houma Grown division maintain the chicken coop, collect eggs, and care for the chickens.

FRESH YARD EGGS

Along with learning new skills by caring for the chickens, TARC individuals also learn to package the eggs to sell retail in our TARC Restaurant & Gift Shop. Fresh yard eggs are available now for $3.00 a dozen.
