TARC is a nationally recognized agency, a non-profit organization that provides a full range of services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in Terrebonne Parish.
Working with TARC’s Vocational QDDP team isn’t just a job; it’s a rewarding career! We are looking for a Vocational QDDP team member that has a strong ability to work independently while still being team oriented.
This person will need to be able to multi-task and be flexible with their schedule in order to accommodate issues and needs that may arise. We are looking for someone who is organized and possesses critical thinking skills.
The position is responsible for:
- Facilitating ID team meetings
- Writing and monitoring Individual Service Plans for case load
- Maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations as well as accrediting standards
- Developing and evaluating objectives
- Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with individuals, families, and support staff
- Training direct staff on implementing ISPs, completing supporting documentation, and teaching individuals’ tasks
- A minimum qualification of a Bachelor Degree in Human Services field with 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
- This position is Monday – Friday, 240 days a year
- Able to work varied hours to accommodate programming
